Mt Wellington is an easy half-hour’s drive from the city. The panoramic views from the summit are magnificent, with a sweeping outlook across the city, river and harbour to Storm Bay and down to the mountains of the far Southwest.
Mt Field National Park is only an hour’s drive away from Hobart. Take a short walk and discover waterfalls, wildlife, alpine flora, glacial tarns and the world’s tallest flowering plants, giant swamp gums.
