Tempo – rhythms of life
Life as a National Geographic Photographer is a syncopated rhythm that oscillates between frenetic and placid. Jason Edward’s photography mimics his life; with alacrity, emotion, and with formidable patience Jason has obtained rare and amazing photographs from some of the worlds most remote places.
Tempo - a two room exhibition, is a fantastic insight into the diverse world of a national geographic photographer. Based in Melbourne Jason has photographed in more than two-dozen countries. Widely published, his work has appeared in National Geographic Magazine, Australian Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine, Aqua Geographia, and Nature Australia.

Mother Earth
Comprising primarily of large vertical panoramic works by prominent Japanese photographer Masaaki Aihara, this exhibition evokes a sense of traditional Japanese screens within a wilderness context. Mr Aihara is a frequent visitor to the state and an official Friend of Tasmania.

Endangered-Tasmania's Wild Places
The popular exhibition Endangered - Tasmania’s Wild Places has been extended, allowing visitors and locals alike to view these sublime images from some of Tasmania’s finest photographers. The exhibition features a number of large canvas works in addition to conventionally framed images. An exhibition of images from the book of the same name, Endangered Tasmania’s wild places available for purchase at The Wilderness Gallery Giftshop.

Gerry Pearce is an internationally successful wildlife photographer whose work has appeared in books, magazines and advertising campaigns worldwide. He works around the world but has a special love for the wildlife of his adopted country, Australia.
