Award Winning Gallery to launch Summer Exhibition Season

The multi-award winning Wilderness Gallery at Cradle Mountain Chateau will launch its Summer Exhibition Season on Sunday, 29 November. The 2009-10 exhibition season follows the theme of life’s journeys, through the personal odysseys and road trips of developing and professional photographers and conservationists.

The launch coincides with The Wilderness Gallery’s success at last week’s annual Tasmanian Tourism Awards. At the ceremony, the Gallery won the Specialised Tourism Services award and was inducted into the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame for winning this category for the third time.

Over the coming months, The Wilderness Gallery’s ten individual gallery spaces will present the following exhibitions, in addition to the Gallery’s standing collections.
