Marvel at majestic old trees

Air Walk
Set on the banks of the Huon River in the heart of the Southern Forests near Geeveston, the Tahune AirWalk is a spectacular treetops walkway providing a birds-eye view of riverside rainforest and surrounding Tasmanian mountain ranges. Visitors walk the slender ‘high wire’ of the AirWalk, suspended up to 45 metres in the air, above the forest canopy. The AirWalk also overlooks the Hartz Mountains and surrounding old growth forests – on the road from Geeveston, visitors drive through the changing forest and its working life cycle. The AirWalk is a 2½ hours drive south of Hobart, on the Huon Trail through the Huon Valley, with its own rich heritage of fruit growing, timber and wooden boat building.
